It's a Food Can Tsunami!

Let’s Inundate our Food Banks!

This is a combination Food Drive and Emergency Preparedness Drill sponsored by EVCNB. You’ll have an opportunity to review your GoBag contents, use your Yellow Radio skills, and practice the route to your evacuation site. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a donation to the two local Food Banks. Bring your food donations or a check (made out to either Food Bank organization) to your Cluster’s gathering site or one of the community assembly areas.

How It Works

  1. Take this opportunity to empty your GoBag and check for expired food, water, medicine, etc. Don’t have a GoBag? Any bag will do!

  2. Put your Food Bank donation (food or checks, payable to either the North County Food Bank or the Nehalem Bay United Methodist Church Food Pantry) in your GoBag.

  3. If you have a Yellow Radio, check in with your Zone Net Control to let them know you’re on the way

  4. Walk (or drive) to your designated evacuation site (see below) to deliver your donation
