The Oregon Dept of Emergency Management (OEM) has partnered up with the Oregon Dept of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) and the National Weather Service (NWS) to provide a comprehensive overview of earthquakes and tsunamis.
This informational session will bring experts to your community to explain the science behind earthquakes and tsunamis, understanding the alerting process from initial shake to a broadcasted message, and how to be better prepared when this happens. There will be time for questions after the presentation to allow for more in-depth discussion
