Nehalem Bay Medical Reserve Corps & CERT Trailers Orientation

A training to orient volunteers to our NBMRC and CERT Trailers was conducted in September 2025.

There were four orientation stations. Volunteer attendees had the opportunity to sign up and orient themselves to any or all stations. Volunteers have now obtained these new skills will be added to EVCNB’s responder list to be activated when needed.

The objectives were:

• MRC Trailers

  • Operations: Access, Towing, Set Up, Safety

    • 17 volunteers trained

  • Medical and Non-Medical Equipment & Supplies

    • 34 volunteers trained

  • Communications Equipment

    • 17 volunteers trained

• CERT Trailer

  • Review of Equipment & Supplies

    • 23 volunteers trained

NBMRC Trailer #1 & #2: Arrived 2/23/2024 and 8/20/2024. They were obtained with a MRC STTRONG Grant.

EVCNB CERT Trailer: Arrived 7/10/2025, made possible with a HPO Grant.
